The Health Check Process:

During the Health Check, we'll interview key division personnel and examine the current PM system configuration and process documentation. Key steps in the process are:

Analysis of the organizational environment:

This first and very important step of the Health Check is geared toward ensuring that the organization is ready to continue to "change" and to ensure that the sustaining sponsorship is apparent.

Analysis of the roles in the PM environment:

Then we determine the shape of the PM environment based on an analysis of the roles in the PM environment and their responsibilities. Any inconsistencies will be noted and analyzed.

Analysis of the PM processes and procedures:

Next we determine the effectiveness of the PM environment based on the availability and use of documented processes and procedures.

Analysis of the PM tool suite configuration:

The final step in the Health Check examines your project management tool suite configuration to determine its suitability and establish whether any changes would be beneficial.
