Project Summary
This A/E services contract supported the Capital Maintenance and Investment Program (COMIP) at Ronald Reagan Washington National and Washington Dulles International Airports for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. Work under the COMIP program involved multi-discipline design for both airside and landside facility and infrastructure projects of varying sizes and complexities. Project types included runways and taxiways; airfield utilities and infrastructure; airport terminal renovations; maintenance facilities; hot and chilled water systems and aircraft fueling systems; power distribution studies; fire alarm and emergency generator systems; airfield lighting; and communication and security systems.
