Alpha Corporation recently appointed industry-veteran, Kathleen Linehan, P.E., as its new President effective July 22, 2019.
Kathleen brings 28 years of professional experience in a broad cross section of engineering and construction management in both transportation and facilities in the built environment. She has served as Project Principal for the VDOT Mega Projects, Project Advisor for St. Elizabeth’s East Campus, Principal in Charge of the Anacostia Waterfront Initiative, and in various roles with the Federal Highway Administration and DC Department of Transportation. Most recently, she served as vice president for Jacobs Engineering Group (formerly CH2M Hill), a $15 billion design, engineering, construction, and technical services firm.
Kathleen is a registered Professional Engineer and has earned her Master’s degree in public administration from the George Washington University. Kathleen earned her Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Marquette University, where she now serves on the Civil Engineering Advisory Council. Kathleen also serves on the Executive Committee for the Federal City Council and Board of Directors for the Anacostia Watershed Society.
