Design-Build and P3
Alpha has been involved in a range of design-build projects, acting as the lead engineering consultant to government agencies in developing preliminary design concepts and preparing RFQ and RFP documents; as engineering designer for developers, architects, and general contractors responsible for preparing final civil and/or structural design documents; and as a management consultant to government agencies responsible for procuring design-build projects and evaluating construction performance.
Alpha has also developed specific expertise in working with the public-private partnership (PPP or P3) model for both owners/public agencies and contractors. The firm’s P3 services range from pre-construction feasibility studies, design and constructability reviews, and risk analysis to construction phase management and quality assurance or quality control services.
