Alpha Corporation has been selected to provide construction management services for the National Park Service to replace the lighting and electrical systems at Carlsbad Caverns National Park, Carlsbad, New Mexico. The existing system will be replaced with new medium voltage primary power system, 120 volt secondary power system, transformers, distribution panelboards, subpanels, conduits, wiring, emergency lights and trail lights will be replaced with a new system. The work also involves construction oversight of the installation of the medium voltage and secondary cabling throughout the cavern in addition to installation of the equipment.
