Project Summary
This project involved the replacement of Locks and Dam 2 on the Monongahela River in Pennsylvania. Locks and Dam 2, on the Monongahela River in Pennsylvania, is commonly known as Braddock Dam. The Braddock Dam originally consisted of a fixed crest weir structure and two locks and was replaced entirely with a gated dam. The dam was replaced using unconventional “in-the-wet” techniques.
