Project Summary
The Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab) construction program involved new construction, renovation, and utility infrastructure improvement projects. The Jefferson Lab is a physics research facility operated by Jefferson Science Associates, LLC, under contract to the U.S. Department of Energy. It has the Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility (CEBAF) that provides space and equipment for experiments by scientists from around the world in a unique international, state-of-the-art environment with more than 62 multifunctional structures located on 226 acres. These structures house administrative functions, industrial processes, manufacturing and assembly, laboratory activities, and experimental facilities. Major projects included the Utilities Infrastructure Modernization; Technology Engineering Development facility; and Hall D Complex.
