Dulles International Airport - Concourse C/D Study and Design

Project Summary

This project involved a multi-discipline evaluation of a 600,000 SF passenger terminal to determine the architectural, structural, MEP, fire protection and personnel transportation requirements to maintain the facility for the next 10 years. The structural system was evaluated for each of the facility’s various additions for compliance with applicable building codes. Following the study, design of repairs and improvements to replace 62 HVAC units located on the roof of Concourse C/D and four units on the ground adjacent to the structure were completed.
