Dulles International Airport - Upgrade of the Heating and Cooling System

Project Summary

This project involved providing civil and structural engineering for upgrades to the existing Utility Plant at Washington Dulles International Airport. The scope of the project included upgrade and expansion of both the high temperature hot water system and the chilled water system. The project scope also included the upgrade of the main 13.2-kV electrical power distribution from the Virginia Power substation located on Route 28 to the Utility Plant Complex located adjacent to the Main Terminal.
