George Bush Presidential Library and Museum – National Archives and Records Administration

Project Summary

This project consisted of providing perimeter security upgrades to prevent vehicular assault of the library. The scope of work included free standing and retaining walls designed to withstand the impact of a 15,000-pound vehicle traveling at 30 miles per hour.  These walls were placed along the perimeter and treated architecturally so as to complement the existing site and architecture.  Stationary and remote-controlled, hydraulically operated bollards control the existing main entrance driveways.
