Project Summary
The project involved the reconstruction and repair of Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium parking lots 6 and 7 for the Cadillac Grand Prix (American Lemans Racing Series). The project included construction of a 1.7 mile road racing circuit in the existing parking lots, and blending the new race track into the existing lot contours in order to maintain use of the parking lot during the non-racing seasons. Improvements were also added to improve and control drainage from the parking lot into the Anacostia River.
