Glacier National Park, Glacier County, Montana

Project Summary

Located along the shores of Swiftcurrent Lake, Many Glacier Hotel was built in 1915, to accommodate visitors of Glacier National Park in Montana. Returning the interior of the hotel to its historic roots has been the focus of the National Park Service. With help from donated funds, crews underwent two remarkable projects in the expansive lobby. The first and most publicized project was the reinstallation of a double helix staircase, that was part of the original hotel design, and a second project involved recreating the unique Asian-style lighting that was once part of the décor. Alpha Corporation provided onsite construction management services to oversee the structural and historical renovation of this prominent hotel.
