Montgomery County, Maryland
The Seneca Facility is a tertiary treatment plant that previously had a maximum capacity of nine MGD. The facility serves a rapidly growing area in central Montgomery County. To meet the growing needs in this area and to relieve truck sewer, additional expansion was required. The expansion under this contract brought the plant to a daily capacity of 20 MGD and completely replaced the existing primary treatment, activated sludge process, and sludge handling facilities.
