Project Summary
The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) provides electricity for nine million people in parts of seven southeastern states at prices below the national average. TVA also provides flood control, navigation and land management for the Tennessee River system and assists utilities and state and local governments with economic development. In an effort for TVA to meet their long term planning goals many cost saving standardization efforts and projects were implemented to assure TVA meets their strategic goals over the next 20 years.
